Armorsmith Extended Fallout 4 How To Useįallout 4 General Discussions Topic Details.It's purely a matter of aesthetics I ended up installing the Armorsmith Extended mod that allows ballistic weave to be applied to any articles of clothing, along with a lot of other added bonuses as far as armor crafting is concerned. Being able to apply ballistic weave to the Vault Suit or BOS Uniform is going to offer absolutely no advantage over applying it to the army/military fatigues (or any under-armor garment). There are only like 5 outfits that can get ballistic weave and have full armor over the top, and I didn't care for the looks of any of them. My biggest gripe was with the under-armor outfits that let you wear full suits of armor over the top. I posted a thread about this a while back, and there was a pretty overwhelming majority opinion that we should be able to apply it to anything.
